Shark Task Force
Everything you wanted to know about sharks and ocean conservation.

When it comes to photography, even Manta Rays have their comfort level. This video was taken in The Revillagigedos Archipelago, also known as the Socorro Islands. The diver in question would like to remain anonymous (he's trying to stay on good terms with Mantas). Manta Rays are being hunted for their gill rakers - which is thought to clean blood when consumed by humans. Groups such as www.mantarayofhope.com are fighting to protect this graceful creature. We'll see you next time, because why wait a whole year, for just one week on sharks?

Sharks have taken over the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art. There you'll find a world class exhibit featuring shark art from around the world. Artist, author and environmentalist Richard Ellis is the curator of the event. He's created an unforgettable multi-media and multi-medium experience. "This is Your Ocean: Sharks" co-star Jim Abernethy shares some of his thoughts as he goes through some of the most "jaw" dropping displays. We were blown away, and we think you will be to. It is a tribute to our fears, our hopes and our never ending thirst to understand sharks and the role they play on our planet. For more on sharks, check out SharkTaskForce.com - and don't forget This is Your Ocean: Sharks, now available on Amazon and iTunes.
