It seems like only yesterday we jumped in the water with Oceanic Whitetip Sharks at night without a cage for the first time. It was nerve-racking at first... but then the unexpected. Find out more in this episode of the Shark Task Force. Remember, for the complete story of the Oceanic Whitetip Shark - check out Guy Harvey Expeditions on iTunes. Over the years we've spent a lot of time in the water with the Oceanic Whitetip Shark. Here are two great ways to find out more about this shark - 1 - head over to GHRITracking.org (soon to be an iPhone and android app) and look at all the tracks for the oceanic. 2 - if you want to get more "in-depth" - check out Guy Harvey Expeditions - The Oceanic Whitetip Shark - right here on iTunes. It's five years of expeditions packed in to one-half hour... the $1.99 goes to the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation. As you find out more about these sharks - it's incredible to think that at one time they were the most prolific animal on the planet over 100 pounds. A sad statement on overfishing. We'll see you next time on the Shark Task Force, because, why wait a whole year, for just one week on sharks?
